Privacy policy

Last updated 2 November 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how FABCO Global (“FABCO Global”, “FABCO”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you use fabcoglobal.com (the “Website”), and the rights you have. The Website is for businesses: trade buyers, retailers, distributors and brand owners.

01Who we are

FABCO Global is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. FABCO Global has offices in three countries:

  • United States: 390 Amwell Road, Building 3, Suite 315, Hillsborough, New Jersey
  • United Arab Emirates: Office 308, Al Bedaia Building, Al Barsha 1, Dubai
  • United Kingdom: 44 Berkeley Road, Kingsbury, London NW9 9DG

For anything about your personal information, contact us at info@fabcoglobal.com or write to us at one of our offices.

02Information we collect

Information you give us. We collect the information you choose to send us through the Website’s forms:

  • Contact messages: your name, work email, company, phone number (optional), country and your message.
  • Pricing requests: the details above, your type of business, and the products, pack sizes, quantities and any notes in your request list.
  • Brand partnership inquiries: the details above, plus your brand’s website, product categories, the markets you are interested in and your current distribution, where you give them.
  • Vendor account applications: your business’s registered and trading names, type of business, address, city and country, website, year established, trade licence or registration number and tax or VAT number; the contact person’s name, job title, work email and phone number; the categories and brands you are interested in, your expected order volume, how you sell and your number of outlets; any message; and any documents you upload, such as a trade licence or tax certificate.
  • Messages sent to us directly by email, phone or WhatsApp.

If you give us details about colleagues or other people at your business, please make sure they know you are doing so.

Information collected automatically:

  • Form context: the page you sent a form from, the page that referred you to the Website, any campaign tags in the link you followed, and your browser type.
  • Protection against spam and abuse: a one-way, salted hash of your IP address, which cannot be turned back into your IP address. We use it only to limit repeated submissions. Our forms also use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a form is sent by a person rather than a bot.
  • Taps on contact links: when you tap a WhatsApp or email link on the Website, we record that a tap happened, on which page and when, with the same one-way hash to limit repeats. This is not linked to your name or details.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

Information kept only on your device. Some features save information in your own browser’s storage, on your device. It is not sent to us unless you choose to send it:

  • your request list, until you send a pricing request or share a link to it;
  • products you recently viewed and your recent searches;
  • your answers to an unfinished vendor account application, which are removed once you send it.

You can clear this at any time through your browser’s settings, or with “Clear the list” on the request list page.

03How we use your information

We use your information only for the purposes below. Where UK or EU data protection law applies, each purpose shows our legal basis.

  • To reply to your message or pricing request, and to send pricing and availability (contact details and your request). Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a contract; our legitimate interests in responding to trade inquiries.
  • To review vendor account applications and check the business applying (application details and documents). Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a contract; our legitimate interests in knowing who we trade with; legal obligations where they apply.
  • To discuss a brand partnership (partnership inquiry details). Legal basis: our legitimate interests in developing our portfolio.
  • To confirm by email what you sent us (name and email). Legal basis: taking steps at your request.
  • To keep the Website secure and stop spam and abuse (hashed IP address, form context, bot check). Legal basis: our legitimate interests in protecting the Website.
  • To understand, in total, which pages lead people to contact us (counts of link taps, campaign tags). Legal basis: our legitimate interests in improving the Website.
  • To keep records and meet legal requirements (as needed for the record). Legal basis: legal obligation.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not make decisions about you by automated means alone. We will only send you marketing where you have agreed or the law allows it, and you can opt out at any time.

04Who we share it with

  • FABCO’s team in our offices, who handle requests, applications and partnerships.
  • Service providers who run the Website for us and process information only on our instructions, under contract: Namecheap (website hosting), Supabase (database and private file storage), Resend (sending emails about your request), and Cloudflare (the Turnstile bot check).
  • WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to contact us through WhatsApp. WhatsApp’s own privacy policy applies to that conversation.
  • Professional advisers and authorities, where we are required to by law, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
  • A buyer or successor, if all or part of our business is sold or reorganised, under the same protections.

The Website links to other sites, such as our social media pages, maps and event websites. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.

05International transfers

FABCO works across the United States, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom, and our service providers may process information in other countries, including the United States. Our database is hosted in Japan (Tokyo). Where information is transferred out of the UK, the European Economic Area or the UAE, we use recognised safeguards, such as the standard contractual clauses approved for that purpose, or rely on the destination being recognised as providing adequate protection.

06How we protect it

  • All connections to the Website are encrypted.
  • Only authorised FABCO staff can see submissions, and they sign in with two-step verification.
  • Documents you upload are kept in private storage and opened only through short-lived links.
  • IP addresses are stored only as one-way hashes.

No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If you think your information has been put at risk, please contact us at info@fabcoglobal.com.

07How long we keep it

  • Messages and pricing requests: 24 months after our last contact with you. If you become a customer, we keep what we need for our customer and accounting records.
  • Vendor account applications and documents: if approved, for as long as we trade with your business and then for six years for our records; if declined or withdrawn, 12 months after the decision, then deleted.
  • Submissions identified as spam: 30 days.
  • Records of taps on contact links: 12 months.
  • Information kept on your device: until you clear it.

We may keep information longer where the law requires it or to deal with a legal claim.

08Your rights

Depending on where you are, you may have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct it, or to delete it;
  • object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it;
  • ask us to transfer it to you or to another organisation;
  • withdraw your consent where we rely on it.

These rights apply under UK and EU data protection law and the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, and similar rights apply under some US state laws, including New Jersey’s. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

To make a request, email info@fabcoglobal.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We respond within one month in the UK, EU and UAE, and within 45 days under US state laws, and there is normally no charge.

09Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You can also complain to a data protection regulator: in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk); in the EU, the authority in your country; and in the UAE, the UAE Data Office.

10Cookies and similar technologies

The Website does not use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking. Cloudflare Turnstile uses technical information about your browser, and may set a cookie, solely to tell people from bots when a form is sent. The private staff area of the Website uses essential sign-in cookies for FABCO staff only. The browser storage described above is used only for features you choose to use.

11Children

The Website is intended for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

12Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will publish the new version on this page with a new date at the top, and where a change is significant we will make that clear on the Website.
